Hi, I’m Diane

My passion is working with organizations to envision positive change and create a welcoming and equitable environment where all have the opportunity to achieve their greatest potential.

I have been an educator for over 30 years, serving in various capacities including: administrative roles, classroom teacher, counselor, Drop-Out Prevention Coordinator, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Coach and Educational Equity Program Specialist. As I share my experiences and expertise, I hope to facilitate positive, meaningful change and inspire others to build strong communities.

Testimonials

Samuel Gordon, D.Th.

Community & Connect Ministries Pastor,
Trinity Life Center

I want to express our earnest appreciation to you for serving as our facilitator during the recent Come to the Table workshop for our pastoral team at Capital Christian Center. We are highly obliged for the time and effort you have put in as facilitator to guide us through exploring race, relationships, and reconciliation. There was an opportunity to further our team-building efforts to strengthen relationships internally and in our church family. We have been inspired by your expertise and thought-provoking ideas for us to consider as we strive to serve our church and community better. Thank you and we hope that we have a long association with you.

Thank you, Diane, for your very personal and exceptional work in guiding our school through a successful PBIS implementation. Your expertise in leadership development and deep understanding of PBIS transformed our school culture and helped us to ensure that every single student in the school had safe and equitable access to instruction. Your guidance in collecting and analyzing data supported our team in designing a clear and actionable vision for PBIS that was aligned with our school’s unique needs and goals.  I will forever treasure our work together and all I have learned through our partnership.

My heart is so full! Each week you set a feast of ideas and perspectives before us that made me think, cry, pray, and stretch to take action. You did a brilliant job of bringing great, thought-provoking resources for us to consider. You have such wisdom and such a sweet and tender (yet strong!) spirit. And you made it a safe place to hear and share stories—even to make missteps and to flounder in how we expressed ourselves… as we grapple with issues surrounding racism, white privilege, and implicit/explicit bias. I know I’m only scratching the surface but I feel like I’ve learned so much by being a part of this group… and my plan is to be intentional with my stop/start/continue steps.
